Good morning,

The wife went to the store this morning and when she returned home she turned the vehicle off but the radio continued to play. She started it again and shut it off and it did the same thing again. Any ideas???? Thanks in advance...........

 

One of the features a lot of new vehicles have is a delayed accessory shut down. It allows power windows to work ,radios, and a few other accessories for a short period of time. Try watching how long it takes before it shuts everything off. Some can be active for 10 or more minutes..

 

Radio etc cancel when the door is opened?

 

This happened when the door was open and we were getting stuff out of the trunk?????????

 

When we finished she started the vehicle again, shut it off and again with the door open the radio still was playing. I have never seen this before. We've been Ford owners for years and are aware when the doors are shut that the radio still plays.
