ok here goes i have a 92 taurus and a 94 for parts. i swapped engines in the 92 did nothing to the tranny. it drove to the store fine the day i pulled the engine. but after bolting in the new engine and wiring it up it will not shift out of first gear. i thought it may be the kickdown cable so i unhooked that and nothing, i traced every wire and every hose nothing is unhooked or leaking. any ideas as to why this would happen? I did notice that the tranny pan has a dent in it my bro may have placed the jack there and done it. But there are no leaks and fluid lvl is full would it pinch anything in there?
