Default Input speed sensor

Hello, I’m reaching out to anyone who can give me some info and/or guidance on how to replace the input speed sensor on my 05 3.0 24 valve DOHC (duratec). I have no idea where it’s located at on the vehicle. Please help. Thank you

Are you talking about a wheel speed sensor or a transmission speed sensor?
If wheel speed - front or back?
If transmission - turbine or output?

If I may ask why do you need to replace which ever sensor you mean?
If you have codes present please list them by number (eg- P0306, P0207).

Here is the location. Below is the directions.

Removal and Installation
  1. Remove LH front wheel and tire.
  1. Disconnect the turbine shaft speed (TSS) sensor connector.
  1. Remove the TSS sensor.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Hi, I want to thank you for the image of location and instruction. The sensor is replaced. Going for a test drive to see if any other codes decide to pop up. Thank you again
