Hi,
I have a Taurus 95. The car runs fine, I just went in vacation with it and everything went fine until we get home yesterday, when the battery light started turning on and off (it wouldn't stay on for too long, only a few seconds and then turn off, and then on again, and off again... )
This morning I started the car and it was fine, I drove to work and the battery light didn't turn on. When I got at work, I tried to turn the car off but the key would go to the off position and the car would keep running. So I took the car to the mechanic and I need a new rod, but I was wondering if this could be causing the battery light to go on before? Any advices?
