Default 93 Probe 2.0 Oil Pump

Hello,

I recently bought a 93 probe se with a 2.0 as a commuter car for work as my 04 F150 only gets about 13 mpg. Well anyway, the car seems to run nice, doesn't smoke but I am worried a bit about the oil pressure. The pressure drops at idle and I would like to get some use out of the car. My problem is I bought a haynes manual but it doesn't state how to change the oil pump. I am a decent mechanic so I was just wondering if I can replace the pump just by simply dropping the oil pan.

If anyone can confirm its that simple I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Todd

Well I figured out where the pump was and have installed it, this job is quite the pain in the ****. I was unable to finish the job yesterday as I over stretched the timing belt tensioner spring and will have to get one before buttening up the job. If anyone is interested I have taken some pics.
