Ford Thunderbird Starting in the 1950s, this was a classic American sports cars, from the compact original of the 1950s, to the muscular hard top coupes of the 1980s and 1990s to the retro look of the 2003 model year, this car is, and always will be, an American classic.

Default '87 v8 won't start/No power

I have a 1987 Tbird Sport, the 5L V8, that's been sitting for almost a year. The battery was new when I parked it and (as expected) was dead when I went to start it last night. I finally jumped it after about 20 minutes of charge from my truck, drove it to town, put in fresh fuel, came home and hooked it to a charger for the night. This morning, it cranked right up and I drove to work. Eight hours later, I went to come home and when I turned the key to crank it the dash lights (all digital dash) flashed for a second then everything shut off. No dash, no dinging, no interior lights, nothing. I took the battery in and had it tested, was told it was "good but discharged." After a 45 minute wait, the machine said it was charged so I took it back to my car and same thing. I followed some wiring and found the connector pictured here, could this be the cause or is it somewhere else in the ignition system or any other thoughts?
Help!!
