Default key pad help

Just bought my first ford, a '94 T-Bird Auto. Obviously it is used, but still in good shape. Anyway, how do I get the key code for the driver's side door? A local dealership says they can find out... for a fee. I'd like to avoid that road. Any help appreciated. Thx.

Solution Found! In the trunk of my car is a Box located on the driver's side door. Written on that box is the key code. It will work even if someone has changed it to a personal key number. The memory holds the factory set key and one personal key. I hope this makes it easier for others to solve similar problems.

Look at your ECM. The code is on a small sticker on the ECM.
