Default '07 E250 defrost probs

Hey guys/gals, I just picked up a '07 E250 12 pass van a few months back and have a problem. The front defrost has stopped working altogether, it wasn't intermediate over a few weeks, one day it worked one day it didn't. I originally thought the blower motor was gone and after some reading maybe the resister. The only fuse I could find was the 50A under the hood(none inside?)

But while I was checking things out yesterday I reLized the rear defrost/ heater was still working. Before I start pulling the battery and blower out, I was hoping someone could tell me if the front and rear run off the same blower? I assume it does but have no experience with this thing.

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the site.
Did you notice if you received an owner's manual with the vehicle.
If you did , in the fuse section of the manual it should spell out what fuse is for what function and also shows the location. If you can, check that and let us know what you found.

If you don't have an owners manual, go to www.fleet.ford.com and click on maintenance tab. Go down to Owners Manuals, enter information then go to roadside emergencies in the manual.

Yeah ok. I looked up the manual (thanks BTW) and I pulled the fuse under the hood, and replaced it. Swapped the relay for the starter relay, and it started up fine so I can assume that its working.

So i went and pulled all the fuses looking for any burnt ones and they were all good under the dash as well as under the hood. Any pointers on where to start looking next? It is COLD up here and im getting tired of using a hair dryer!

thanks!
