What size tank do you have verses how much fuel does it take to fill the tank when it's at the 1/4 tank spitting and sputtering level?

The only logical answer would be thefuelpick-up, inside thetank. It may have vibrated loose or moved.

Side note. . .take a look at the TSBs for this truck. I also have a 99 F250 PSD, and I've been impacted byalmost every single TSB written for that year. The good news, I've fixed every item thus far and it still runs like a champ, 120K and still going. What ever you do, don't run outa fuel. I've heard this could causemajor damage to the fuel pump, and the price tag is in the neighborhood of $2K to repair it.
