I found out that it was way out of time. I set the timing and now it seems to be running way better. I can actually spin the tires in loose gravel and it will go into overdrive and stay there for the most part. But it has started to start really hard again. Once the truck has started once i can turn it off and it will start right back up. After it has sat awhile its really hard to start. If you guys have any suggestions to why it is doing this it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Just touching all the bases;
Remove the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator, does it show any gasoline coming out of it?

No, Shut the engine off then remove the vacuum line from the pressure regulator and watch to see if any gasoline comes out of the regulator assy. If it does ,replace it .
There should also be no gas in the vacuum line you removed to check.
