Default 2002 Expedition Eddie Bauer Not blowing air in front

Front Ac just stopped working one day. Rear AC still works and blows air.

I checked fuse 114 and it looks good

my guess is it’s either the blower motor which is kind of a pain to replace. Is there a way I can test it? I have a volt meter but I am not too familiar with it.

or it’s the speed control module and again how do I test that?

any other ideas or knowledge out there?

Default Check voltage to blower motor

I tried to find what Fuse 114 goes to and in the process found your vehicle could be equipped with Automatic temp control (EATC). I wrote what is below before finding that. If you have EATC the below doesn't apply. Just let me know I'm leaving an attachment for the diagrams and what an EATC control head looks like.

It will say Automatic under the OFF button

Manual Temp Control
First off check fuse 24 in the CJB and fuse 105 in the BJB. If those look good, check voltage to the blower motor at the brown yellow wire. You have to ignition in run position. If you have no voltage you could have bad relay or relay control circuit (the switch side)

Not related to the tests but for operation notes. With the blower motor position set to high, the resistor (speed control) is bypassed. SO if you only have high speed it is likely to be a bad resistor, but also inspect the connectors I have seen the pins overheat and melt also causing bad connection.
