Hi folks , Have a ford edge that misfires.mechanic said computer indicated on #1 at 1000 rpm. changed wires but still getting check engine light. Kinda short of work right now and would like to keep from spending a bunch. Ive taken good care of this little truck. thanks

Miles, plugs, 3.0/4.0?

If the plugs and wires are new, could be the coil pack.. Same code came back with the CEL for #1? Same misfire symtom? or just setting CEL?
