2015 f150 3.5 non turbo
Anyone have an insight on this, lost all electronics to truck while driving but the truck kept driving.stopped shut it off and back on but couldn’t get it to shift into gear, after a while managed to shift it into gear and drive it home without any power anywhere, upon getting home battery smoking but voltage test and obd2 reader both show battery is fine and alternator is running 14.6
Have videos I can send of what’s happening but there too large for the forum

Where are you measuring the 14.6 volts
Only a couple reasons for a battery to smoke, internally shorted, overcharging, excessive drain.
I would lean toward to internal short within battery or severe overcharging.
Is this the original battery, if not, what was installed in it's place?
Did you remove and clean the battery cables at the battery yet, how about the connections from the alt to the battery, don't overlook any junctions.
Last but not least ,if there is any poor connection to the PCM which controls battery charging, it could think the battery is low and keep charging it when it may be fully charged.
