I lost one of my two, 5 button, key fobs. I purchased a replacement through Amazon and need instructions on how to program it. Nobody in my area wants to do it without charging me $300+. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You might try this:
1.) Get in vehicle & unlock the doors
2.) Turn ignition on/off 8 times, & end with key position
being "On".
3.) Door locks should cycle
4.) Press any button on the remote
5.) Turn ignition off & remove key
6.) Test remote

 

The suggested solution did not work
Questions:
After performing item one, does the door remain open or closed?

After turning the ignition on/off eight times, do I turn the ignition back for the 9th time or leave it on after the 8th time?

Item 5 - there is no key to remove as my 2015 Ford Edge Titanium has a push button start.

Should I leave my working fob out of the car during this process?

Does your owner's manual provide any helpful info regarding remote programming ?

 

The manual states that you must have two working fobs before you can program another non working fob.

 

The situation sounds similar to key programming and you might check with a local locksmith. They usually have the equip to do programming and usually charge less.
Worth a try.
