2018 explorer driver seat motor
Get a capable scanner (Foxwell NT510 Elite) and check for possible DTCs, run active test on the module, and reset the module, if you can't borrow or can't afford to buy the scanner, you just can't DIY and find a mechanic to fix it.
The motor is controlled by the DSCM module, if the motor runs by itself all you can do is to get to it then clean and check the wiring for possible short to power, that's ALL you can do. And in the meantime just disconnect the connector. If you think the motor is bad and the DSCM is still good, then just replace the motor yourself.
