If our? wheelbarrow had other than tough wooden handles I think I might just try that.
How much trouble is it to bend those wooden handles closer together ?
Hmmmm, maybe that's why she won't let me work on it.

Oh come on, Hanky. With a little lumber and some wood glue and screws, you could fix it, I'm sure.
But that suggestion might come a little later if your wife's already beaten you with the old handles....

Maybe I'd better stick to working on little red wagons since if I did put those handles closer together she wouldn't have much trouble handling that wheelbarrow and then could dump me into the pond. But she could carry more firewood in it once she got rid of the deadwood.
