Default 95 escort heats up

Hey everyone, I am new to this forum and drive a 95 escort with a 1.9L engine. A couple of weeks ago I had the side tank of the radiator replaced. The day after I did this my car started heating up. It was the thermostat which had broken into several pieces (all of it was rocovered and there were no missing pieces). After I replaced the T-stat, it still heated up, so I put the new water pump and had the radiator checked for clogs (it had none). It is stillheating up. Does anyone have any suggestions on what else it could cause the car to heat up? I am thinking it could be the fan getting stuck while I drive or something. Is there any way to check?

Well, now that you mention it, I didn't bleed the cooling system after all those parts were added, but I didn't think you had to. Do you have to bleed the cooling system for all cars or is it just certain ones?
