I have a 97 escort that has a howling noise seeming to come from the left rear I have replaced both rear struts and rotated the tires, It was a little less noisy but it`s about the same again. I checked and tightened the wheel bearings but it didn`t seem to make any difference. If it makes any difference I have also recently replaced both lower ball joints on the front. thanks for any help
