my truck is a 1998 f-150 / 4 wheller / 5.4 motor and im asking To change the front drive belt- it can be done with just a long style breaker bar to turn the idler pully and relieve the load . YES . or thrers more to it then this and getting the new belt in place ?

 

If there is a belt routing diagram under the hood , good. If not, make a quick diagram so once you remove the belt , you can be sure you have the replacement installed correctly. Sometimes it a good idea to lube the tensioner and make sure it can move properly, otherwise you got the idea.
