I have a 99 f-150 with the 4.2 5-speed and I also have a 96 E-250 cargo van with the 5.8 and I would like to transfer the 5.8 over to the F-150. I know it will not be an eazy transfer both are fuel injected and was wanting to know if anyone knew what all I would need to do to make the change. I would also like to keep the F150 a 5-Speed. I think I will have to change the computer out with the one in the van but my bigest fear is will all the factory dash gages work with the transfer. All the info any of you can give me would be nice thank you. I have no intrest in the new 4.6 or 5.4 not a big fan of them knowing it would be a more resonable swap.
