Hello everyone,

I've been looking around on the site for a while and now I have registered and I have a question. This past winter, my temp control got stuck on hot. I can turn it to cold, but it still blows out hot air. Before it did this, it sounded like it was getting stuck when you went from hot to cold (or cold to hot). I made kind of a poping noise. Anyway, is this an easy fix? Right now I would settle if someone could tell me how to manually turn it over to cold, so my ac will work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

At the top of the page, click on search. Type in "Blend Door".

There's alot of nice info there. In my own experience, Explorers commonly break blend doors. This is most likely your problem.
