Default AC / Heat Question

Hi everyone,

I've been looking around on the site for a while and now I have registered and I have a question. This past winter, my temp control got stuck on hot. I can turn it to cold, but it still blows out hot air. Before it did this, it sounded like it was getting stuck when you went from hot to cold (or cold to hot). I made kind of a poping noise. Anyway, is this an easy fix? Right now I would settle if someone could tell me how to manually turn it over to cold, so my ac will work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ashley

Default RE: AC / Heat Question

Did you ever get an answer for this issue?
My 1997 has the same issue. I feel like it is a control vent behind the dashboard/radio/AC-Heat that is getting stuck. I hate to rip the interiour apart to find out I was wrong. What do you think?
