Default C6 tag decoding help

I have a 1957 Fairlane 500. When I bought it, it had a C6 transmission in it. I have the transmission tag, but cannot find any site that has the tables that allow me to decode the tag myself. I have been able to decode it as manufactured in 1989, but that's as far as I've gotten. Can anyone help? The tag reads:

PGD-JE A6B

If you know it's a C6, what specifically are you trying to find out?

I just want to decode the tag. On several Chevrolet sites, people have posted how to decode the entire tag for information like build date, build plant, what car it was originally placed in, etc. I can't seem to find any sites like that for Fords.
