My understanding is on the 1997 1/2 and up Explorer/Mountaineers with a 5.0 engine doesn't have a distributor, but has coil packs. Can a distributor be installed in one of these engines? Does the existing cam have a gear on it for a distributor? Thanks in advance!!!
