I have a 1978 Mercury Grand Marquis,and it has a 2 barrel Motorcraft 2150 Carb I believe.The number on the carb is D8AE-TA. The other numbers are
H-8E-1,but what I am looking for is in the repair manual I have,looking for the setting,instead of the paper with the kit,it does not show a 351M under 1978,it shows a 351M under 1977.Under 1978 only shows the settings for a 2.8 Federal and Federal Capri.
My question is,the repair manual only shows the settings for a D8AE-JA,nothing for a D8AE-TA,do I use those settings?Can anyone help me out with this.Should I use the 1977 settings or the D8AE-JA settings,they look to be the same settings,but not sure if this is what I should use.Thanks in advance,anyone have this issue?Thanks again,Mark,,Cedar Lake,Indiana,Have a great day..
