Constant Velocity joints

Default Constant Velocity joints

I need to know what it takes to get the c.v. joints off of a 1991 ford probe GL i broke a craftsman 3/4 inch drive breaker bar in half trying to take it off. i have given up

Okay, you must be trying to remove the hub nut, right? Will if a 3/4" breaker bar cant do it, the old flame wrench (torch) can. How in the world could anybody break a 3/4' breaker bar (made in China?).
If you do have to torch the CV joint off, you probibly need to replace the hub bearings or maybe the hub.
