Ok so I've been working on a 95 f150 with the e40d automatic transmission. Its been leaking fluid so I decided to pull and fix the leaks. Apon doing so I pulled the pan off and found 2 small parts that really don't seem to go anywhere. I will attach photos any help would be great appreciated.

 

Those pieces are from when the vehicle was assembled. They found it easier to just push them in than pull them out.

Unless we knew in advance,we all wondered what they were the first time we saw them !

 

Well that seems alittle odd...... but thank you for letting me know. I was crazy trying to find out where they could have come from.
