Default Need Perfomance Programers Advice

I'm shopping for a programer for my 2006 E-350anyone have advice what to go with? I pull a 3,000lbs trailer andI use my van for work and as a daily driver.I get about 11 mpg now (without trailer) andI'd like toget better economy. The tourque increase is important to me when i'm pulling but i'm not really looking to hop up this truck too much but, i am considering a cat back system too. Any advice in general would be welcome.

thanks,
Nik

Why don't you just try the normal upgrades first. Exhaust/air intake, would be my rec'd then go for perfromance modules. Performance chips will almost guarantee the need for higher octane fuel.

In your opinion, what's the best way to upgrade the intake without doing a lot of modifactions to the throdel body? I don't know much about EFI intakes. Any info would be great, even if you'd like to point me to some reading.

Do you think a cat back system will help me much or is that more show (noise) and less go?

thanks a lot for your help!
Nik

easy way is a high flow air filter. but if you spend some extra $$ ou can buy a cold air intake. your computer will adjust your fuel and timing for your engine. you want it to get as much air as possible, and get the exhaust out quick!

These were my sentiments exactly. Don't know if they offer cold air intake for vans though. If not just opt for K+N air filter. If JET still offers piggyback stlye chip for computer this mght be good upgrade as they are only a couple hundred dollars.
