Default squeak coming from steering wheel/column

please help...i have a 2003 F-150 4x4 and recently the steering wheel started to squeak like a mouse when making turns, right or left. i called the dealership, and the guy i talked to suggested it was the power steering pump, the noise is not the whine a power steering pump makes. any suggestions?

Sounds like the clock spring may ne bad. That is the sensor located btwn the back of steering wheel and the column for the air bag to deploy. They will make a squeal noise sometimes.

Very well could be.. Does sound like a CS if thewheel is bumped or rocked from side to side with a high pitched squeak.....
