Default Tumbler/Ignition switch installation for a 1972 Ranchero

Hey there, I just need some info on taking out the tumbler and installing a new one. Someone tried to pick my ignition, failed, and now I can't turn my key to start the car or even get it out of park. The pins basicaly are broken, so I just got a new one.

I tried to just look around and find a way to get it out without hassle but it's a lot harder than I thought.

Any help would be delighted.

if tumblers r bent u may have to drill out but otherwise if my memory is correct there is a small hole in the face of the tumbeler that u can insert a pin "eg paper clip" turn key to acc then pull out tumblers other choice replace complete switch assy.
