I got my oil change at the Ford Dealership and they did remove the battery but it still has the white screen. Although, my radio stations did not reset, why?

Anytime the battery is disconnected, (or goes dead) the ‘keep alive memory’ is lost. Which includes stored radio station selections.

FM/AM preset stations were not lost, why?

We are speculating here,
Either they used a supplemental power source to maintain radio stations which could be the case and just disconnected the video power supply
or maybe they didn't disconnect anything, we don't really know without asking them.

Oh ok. I will go back and have them to do in front of me. I was in the waiting room. Do you think they did not do it because they want me to spend money on that screen?

We would rather believe they are honest. If you feel otherwise , why not try another dealership?

There is no harm in asking them up front how they did what they did.

My uncle works there but his shift was over when I arrived there. Next time, he will check it.

Ford dealership will replace the entire unit. It’s a $1,200 worth.

I am still under warranty so I might pay $100 deductible at most. More update to follow.

They have to order the parts first. It either comes from Detroit or New York.

Hello! Do you happen to know what the part was that they replaced? Currently having the same issue and all resets failed to solve the issue.
