I bought a 2000 Ford windstar that recently had the transmission rebuilt. Twice when driving in the morning, the transmission has not engaged in 3rd gear (just revs). After warming up it drives fine.

the speedometer works, but the and control module needs to be rebuilt. Do you think the abs module could cause an issue?

Could the wrong transmission fluid have been used in the rebuild causing a pressure issue?

What else could it be?

 

How recently?

Any warranty left if within the coverage times?
