Default 07 Five-Hundred inertia switch & P0190

My 07 Five-Hundred engine sputtered and stopped while driving. It cranked and barely ran (stumbled & sputtered & died) for a few seconds and I decided it was fuel related. I found the plug into the inertia switch was broken and not seated. I fixed the inertia switch plug and wiring and the car runs again like normal but I have a check engine light ON (steady not flashing). Oreilly's Auto read the code as P0190 and suggested that I might need a fuel rail pressure sensor. Is it really possible that the sensor is bad now because the inertia switch cut the fuel off while driving? What else should I be looking for as the cause & solution for the check engine light? - Thanks for the help!

I would clear the code or disconnect the battery to do it. The P0190 could have been set because the inertia switch stopped the fuel pump and pressure went to zero.

Thank you. I'll try that and see if the check engine comes back ON or if it stays OFF.
