Default 1979 f100 rear light wiring issues

Hey all, I just found and purchased my grandfathers 1979 ford f100 custom. I am having some real issues with the rear lighting. I can’t get turn signals no matter what I do, I finally got both tail lights to work. I have the passenger rear reverse light working and the brake light. However I only have one tail light on the drivers side and when I push the brake pedal in, the passengers side lights up properly, but the drivers side completely shuts off. I’ve also found that if I turn the right turn signal on, and press the brake at the same time, the drivers side brake light stays on until I let off the turn signal then goes back off. I have spent HOURS trying to look at wiring diagrams (which I am quite familiar with) and I CANNOT figure this out…. PLEASE HELP!
