I have a 1992 Ford Probe 2.2L, automatic tranny that I believe the shift interlock actuator/solenoid is going out on. Had to repeatedly step on the brakes to get the actuator to release, has been ok for a few days, but, in checking with my local NAPA store and local Ford dealer, they say this part is obsolete, and they can't get me one... Any suggestions? Local junk yard only has one Probe on the lot, and it has a manual tranny...
