I have a running issue.Pings until i rev it then it seems like the computer takes over timing and it runs fine after that and doesnt ping anymore until its shut off and restarted .I did check base timing with spout unplugged and it is at 10 degrees BTD.I replaced distributor and ignition module,Almost seems like something electronically is sticking until i rev it.Has anyone ever have this problem

 

Can you tell us if the problem was present before you replaced the distributor?

 

no it ran great,then outta no where it fell on its face and had no codes,so I replaced the distributor with aftermarket unit,couldn’t find FOMOCO unit which kinda sucks
