Do you know how to check for spark?
If so, check and let us know.
We all know you need fuel , spark, air and correct spark timing and it should run or at least start.
There are some tests you can run before replacing anything and spark is one of them.

Where is the pin or hole location to lock in camshaft in place to insure I am setting number one cylinder at TDC? 98 ford contour, no codes on scan, timing has obviously jumped, new tensioner and belt already on but when I try and start the timing is off, set using flat bar on back of camshafts
