2001 E150 stalled
Hey yesterday my 2001 E150 started acting up. She kept trying to stall in Drive, was fine in neutral, and park. The overdrive off light was flashing on the shifter too. Got her home, put the cheap diagnostic tool on and it was a P0743 code. I'm pretty handy when it comes to fixing cars. She's had delayed shifts every now and then and I checked the trans fluid, which was normal and full.
Where is the Torque converter clutch, TCC solenoid located? Trying to get engine schematics online...proving difficult. Also, could the wire connection in the shifter be causing the overdrive off issue?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
Just a girl and her van.

How about you consider checking all the plugs and wires that come to and away from the trans ?
I do not believe at this time that there is any big problem. The converter clutch sol gets told to activate and to release by the vehicle computer and trans and speed info may not always be getting to where it is needed.,
Check the plug connections for any corrosion or loose connections. We always start with the simple things first.
Let us know what you find, thanks.
