I bought a new Edge and notice that the calipers are very rough , like they have been well worn out This will shorten the life of the break shoes and it makes them grab a lot when you slow down .We noticed that all the new ones the dealer had were like this also .

 

Are you talking about the calipers or the rotors? If rotors, they will polish up after use.
