Unhappy 50 Ford Brake Problem

Hi - my car has been sitting for several months since we moved. Now when I drive it, the brakes grab very hard. I've tried "riding" the brakes to clean them off but it doesn't help. Any ideas on what to do ? Had a complete brake job 2 years ago. Thanks

There is a good possibility the wheel cylinders have become corroded and are slow to retreat when pedal pressure is removed. The best way to confirm is to remove the wheels and drums and watch the brake shoe action. Also leaky wheel cylinders can contaminate lining and cause the brakes to "grab".
