I got a 1993 Ford F250 5.8 liter, I just rebuilt the transmission got everything installed and tightened down , and it goes forward in every gear......Could someone please help me.......

 

You're not going to like this, but do you remember indexing the arm inside the trans to the shift valve of the valve body ?

You will need to drop the pan again to verify this, but it is something that can give the same symptoms.

 

Thank you so much I am betting that's what it is. Am I going to have to drop the whole transmission or can i do it without dropping the whole thing
