Default Ford Gold vs Yellow coolant

Hi everybody, I accidently bought 3 gallons of Motorcraft Yellow coolant (VC-13G) instead of Motorcraft Gold (VC-7B).This is for a 2005 F-350 6.0 diesel. Are they compatible or should I return for refund. How does Yellow compare to Xerex G05 coolant. Thanks much

The owner's manual usually provides the specs for coolant to be used.

What is equally important is the coolant replacement schedule that most folks are not aware. The additives do get depleted and sometimes additive packages are available , but coolant replacement is one of those routine maintenance items like motor oil and YES, brake fluid too.
