Default help with truck problems

i have a ford f350 diesel 7.3 liter which has problems no seems to be able to figure out. it seems to act up more in cold weather any one who can help would be a god send. heres what it does.

sputs, sputers, stalls, run rough, upon starting and sometimes while driving. sometimes giving it a lot of gas will clear up. does not do it everyday. does it even when plugged up for night. we have spent about $4000. in last year trying to fix.

we have replaced fuel filter 3 months ago. we try to get fuel at sameplace (last place seems to have worked for a while ) about last month or two been fine. but has started again. replaced cam shaft sensor last august or september. we have used fuel additives bought from diesel repair shop. they have hokked up to computer nothing. usually no water/fuel/engine lights come on on dash board

please help
