Question Need Help

I have a '97 Expedition that is overheating in no time. I'm loosing oil thru the radiator when it dose. I've been told that its the head gasket but I'm not sure & can't afford the repair costs. I want to keep the truck even tho many are telling me to cut my loses and get rid of it. Its the 1st year model and to that makes it an instant classic. I need help and suggestions. Are there any additives that might work? Come on guys, I need help.
