Hello Blue Oval fans!

I am presently the owner of a 2013 Taurus SEL in Deep Impact Blue. I've had the car about a year but found little support online. There appears to be plenty for the SHO but not much in the way of enthusiast mods for the lower models.

Not complaining, just realizing its not a Mustang! LOL
I guess the change is a bit strange since I had a Dodge Magnum R/T before and the LX Forum is a crazy busy place.

Anyway, its been a good first year with the Taurus and looking forward to many more miles.

Any plans for it?

 

Planning to swap from the 19s down to 18s, painted calipers, and I'd like to add nav to the sync system. Aside from those things, already happy with the K&N Typhoon, Summit chambered muffs, and the scoop/spoiler combo. I also added a SHO grille since the stock SEL unit was just plain ugly! LOL My buddy at local body shop has a process called Armour Chrome. When I get the new wheels, he can spray a dark tinted chrome finish, and he says he can spray the rest of the trim to match. So I may go with a "black chrome" for both the wheel centers and other chrome trim on the body. He can spray samples to get the tint level before it goes on the car, so I'm interested.
