Default new to the ford van world

like it said I am new the ford world and am restoring a 1991 E250 econoline and will be picking the brains of you ford smart people .if you let me .I need to replace the flex plate first then stop ALL the oil leaks do some wiring that should keep me busy for a wile . any words of wisdom ,do's or don'ts before

Depending on your location and your state's emission requirements getting the emission controls working as designed can be a hassle, but once you understand them they are not that bad to handle. If I recall the lower bolts that held the doghouse in place always seemed to corrode faster than anyplace else,so if not too bad, some grease or never seize always made removal easier if necessary.
