Hi, I'm new to the forum. I need some help with my 75 f100 it keeps dying on me, and its at random times. Can't be fuel, my wife flooded it well driving it to the gas station when it died on her. I've replaced the ignition coil, plugs, wires, cap + rotor, re grounded the engine, battery, and alternator. When i went to the local auto zone i purchased a new ignition module but it's black on the underside, the module in my truck is green. Also i was hoping on some information on switching the shifter or transmission from a three on the tree to anything that doesn't continuously jam up. I was thinking a 5spd out of a mustang and throwing the shifter on the floor. Thank you any info or parts numbers for the green tabbed ignition module would be great!
