Default Oil Leak

Hi,

I want to express my frustration on my 2015 F150. 3 years ago, my truck was diagnosed that there was an oil leak and they change its oil pan. Two months ago, same problem and I spent big amount of money to fix it in the dealership. Now, there is still a leak. So, my question is, it is advisable to fix it to the other shop? I am not happy with this dealership. I feel like they do not care about being competent because they are the only one Ford dealership in my State. is this really the usual problem of F150? I appreciate your words of wisdom.

Thanks,

Kingkong

No there isn't a problem with F150's. There are problems with incompetent people doing repairs. I would take it back because it appears they did not fix it.

Many times oil pans are resealed when the actual leak is higher up on the engine like from a valve cover. Hopefully the service department completely washed down and degreased the engine before their diagnosis for the oil leak. If they didn't, they did a poor job which often results in an unhappy customer.
