Problem with Door Ajar Button

I have a 2001 Ford Expedition and the problem that I am having is the when I drive the the Door Ajar button is lit and make a beeping noise. When I stop my inside light and lights on my side mirrors stay on or either they go off and then come back on. Is there a way to disable the light until I can afford to get it fixed?

if you look in the owners manual there should be a code using ur seat belt and light switch to disable the chime noise in the mean time.. i dont know about the lights inside

Get some WD-40 or PB Blaster and spray the latches in the door. The door ajar switch is on the latch. Open and close the door a few times and the light will probably go oyt. Usually it is the drivers door that has the problem as it is used more. Good luck.
