Default Tire danger help please!

We just stopped for gas and I noticed something wrong with the tires on my Ford f53 chassis RV. If you look at the photos, notice how the tire bead is uneven at the rim. Is this a safety issue? Please, I'm looking for honest direct answers as I'm traveling cross-country with my wife in small children. Thanks everyone advance

Welcome to the site

It looks like the steel wheel trim, chrome clad, isn’t centered. Generally you shouldn’t see as much of the steel wheels bead/lip.

Tires appear pretty new. Could it be they were not centered on the rim when installed ?

Easy check,,, if the wheel is raised off the ground, place an object socket,or can next to the outer surface of the tire that is in contact with the road as long as it gets close to the tire, and rotate the wheel. If it is off center it will contact or push the object out of the way.

If so, deflate, remount tire, and rebalance may be required.. What do you think?

There is another way this can be verified, most tires will have a raised line around the tire just about a 1/4 in away from the rim. If the gap between the raised line on the tire and the wheel rim is not the same distance all the way around , the tire should be remounted.

Looks like the stainless trim/clad is off center to the steel rim to me..
Certainly seen enough of these ‘beauty inserts’ rolling down the road wobbling away ...
